1. a) Play 12 games (Season starts June 1)
b) You will be considered a home team in half of your games. At that time you will be responsible for the line of the field and the fee of $13.00, which is a total of $39.00 for all your games combined.
2. Umpires receive $23.00 per game, per umpire. No matter where you are playing. A total of $276.00 for all of your games combined.
3. Full pay for 1 game is to be given to umpires for forfeited games (before you play your next game).
4. Playing time: 1 hour 15 minutes or 5 innings
5. Maximum of 5 runs per inning. Once 5 runs have been reached, the offensive team goes on defense.
6. High School rules. (You can have 4 outfielders)

8. No metal spikes allowed. The game will not be a forfeit, but the player must remove the shoes or he cannot participate.
9. A pitcher can pitch no more than 2 innings per game. Defensive pitcher must have one foot on the dirt of the mound. After ball 4 the coach will then pitch. When the coach is pitching, any passed ball or wild pitch no one can advance.
10. Stealing and Leadoffs: Yes there is stealing, but NO LEADING OFF!
11. Baseballs:2 new baseballs to start your home game, you are responsible for any extra balls needed (must be new equivalent).
12. CAYSA will be responsible for obtaining the umpire and the line of field when games are played at the Optimist Field. If games are played elsewhere, it is the site's responsibility to obtain an umpire and line the field.
13. Inning starts immediately after third out is made for the previous inning.
14. At theOptimist Baseball Field, a concession stands will be available to help the organization financially.No outside food or drinks allowed.Please patronize our concession stand.
15.Pitching Distance- 46ft
Base Distance- 60ft
16. All players must be in uniform. Coaches must be in uniform or baseball shorts, baseball or tennis shoes. (No tank tops, flip flops, jeans, etc.) This will be strictly enforced
17. ONLY players and four (4) coaches allowed in dugouts. This will be enforced! (So, tell your parents to get out!)
